Svetlana was born in Moscow on January 3, 1968. In 1990, she graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University, Geography Department, with a diploma in Geography of World Economy. She also studied at Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest and received MBA from the University of Chicago School of Business (2015).

In 1992 – 2000, Svetlana was a Head of Information and Analytical Support and Public Relations at Media-Most.

2001 – 2003: First Vice President at Company for Public Relations Development (CROS)

2003 – 2014: Director General, RIA Novosti news agency

2016 – 2017: Senior Vice President at Sberbank of Russia

2017 – present: Executive Director, Head of Marketing and Business Development, PwC

Public life:

  • Member of the Board of Trustees at Podari Zhizn charity foundation for children with oncohematology diseases (founded by Chulpan Khamatova);
  • Member of the Board at Friends charity foundation (chaired by Ivan Urgant);
  • Member of the Board of Trustees at Vykhod (Way Out) foundation that provides assistance in solving the problems of autism in Russia (established by Avdotya Smirnova);
  • Member of the Board at Method Center foundation for the development of the system to search for missing people (founded by Irina Vorobyeva).
