IT Leaders Believe Information Technology to Broaden the Horizon

September 24, 2014
Increasing economic uncertainty, frozen customer projects, less demand for products and services, and, finally, sanctions—all this makes companies search for new methods to remain competitive. One of such methods - adjacent market penetration - will be in the spotlight of related discussion at the IT Leader Forum.

Attendees will discuss how to diversify production in the current economic situation, roll out non-core services, reduce dependence on existing customers and attract new ones, and how IT can help to do this.

Invited panelists: Andrey Timoshkin, Director of IT Department, United Aircraft Corporation; Andrey Batalov, Director of Department for IT Development in Regions and the CIS, VimpelCom; Olga Rumyantseva, Director for Operations with Corporate and Public Accounts, Rostelecom; Andrey Ushatsky, Vice-President for Engineering and Information Technology, MTS Group; Igor Kosyrev, IT Director, MegaFon Group; and other top managers and CIOs from major companies.

The IT Leader Forum will be moderated by Maxim Kashulinsky, Director General, portal.

"At the IT Leader Forum, I will share my experience in diversifying production for reducing dependence on orders from defense customers. Using existing capacity, we launched production of meat processing equipment, and now its share in our revenue reaches 10 percent. Also we started manufacturing LED lamps and a series production of 3D printers, and look forward to manufacturing photovoltaic batteries with 50% efficiency. All these new lines of business are powered by IT," said Kirill Soloveychik, Director General, Lenpoligraphmash Holding, and a speaker at the IT Leader Forum.
