IT Leader Forum: Modeling the Future

September 11, 2015

On October 14, 2015, IT industry leaders and key experts will visit Digital October Center (Moscow, Russia) to join the 12th IT Leader Forum, one of the most prominent IT industry events that brings together over 300 attendees each year. This year, the Forum’s key topic is ‘Modeling the Future. Representatives of Russian and international companies will discuss how information modeling technologies help businesses make economically sensible decisions with regard to financial, production, logistics, and construction processes.

The plenary session will feature a presentation by special guest Josep Curto, CEO at Delfos Research and professor at IE Business School Madrid, which is ranked by the Financial Times, Wall Street Journal, and Forbes as being among the top three business schools in Europe. Josep will tell attendees how a proper combination of Big Data, information models, and technology can provide a competitive edge in an ever-changing world.

During the discussion session, leading IT experts will discuss how todays information technology helps companies make highly demanded products, reduce costs, assess risks, and build models of the future and test them in various scenarios influenced by external and internal factors. Attendees will share information modeling technology case studies, including: Big Data, BI, supply chain management systems, industrial and 3D solutions, and Building Information Modeling (BIM), one of the promising technologies being used in building design, construction and operation.

"Today, online enterprise management, lean production, logistics optimization, and 3D construction have become buzz phrases, especially given the pressure caused by the global economic downturn, which hit the Russian market hard. We would like to hear first-hand from representatives of leading domestic companies whether the above approaches are really applied in Russia and how they help business," said Nikolay Turubar, who is Editor-in-chief at chezasite.com, former Editor of the Hardware section at Mens Health Magazine, Editor-in-chief of Stuff Magazine, and high technology columnist at Itogi Magazine, and will moderate the IT Leader Forum.

Organizers of the event are the Russian Managers Association, ibusiness portal, -iOne, Kommersant Dengi, Intelligent Enterprise Magazine, and CROC.
